One of the smallest villages in Malta, tucked into the south near the airport. Kirkop is compact, quiet and almost entirely residential.
Tips for viewing here
Kirkop is genuinely small, which means very little happens in it and everything is known. There are a few shops and a square; the rest is in Zurrieq, Luqa or Birzebbuga. Aircraft noise is a real consideration depending on the runway in use and the street — this is the sort of thing to check at a viewing rather than take on trust. A car is necessary. For somebody who wants a quiet, cheap base in the south and does not need to be north often, it is one of the better-value addresses on the island.
