A small village in Gozo’s far west, near Dwejra and the coast where the Azure Window stood. Quiet, remote and among the most scenic corners of the islands.
The lifestyle
San Lawrenz is small and remote, and the appeal is the setting rather than the convenience. There is a village square, a church and very little else; Victoria is a drive and the ferry is further. A car is essential. Divers and walkers come for Dwejra, which brings some seasonal traffic through, though the village stays quiet. Winter is very still. It suits people buying a retreat or working entirely remotely far better than anyone with daily commitments elsewhere.
Property in San Lawrenz
Mostly farmhouses and houses of character, often with pools, alongside a small amount of newer apartment stock. Quality of conversion varies and the best properties are held tightly. Holiday letting dominates the rental market here, so long lets are scarce and seasonal.
