The lifestyle
Marsalforn is the busiest place on Gozo in summer and considerably calmer the rest of the year, though enough stays open that it does not shut down entirely the way the smaller villages do. It suits people who want the sea and a village pace and accept that the island is quiet. The crossing to Malta remains the constraint for anyone with work there. Parking is difficult in season and easy the rest of the time.
Property in Marsalforn
Mostly apartments, with maisonettes and some houses, and farmhouses in the countryside behind. A significant share is holiday stock let long-term off-season, so terms are worth establishing early. Sea views are widely available. Standards vary; the newer blocks are noticeably better finished.
